I followed the Alicia Andrews trial online all the way from Delaware, and I just wanted to say — EXCELLENT JOB! I don’t know anything about Jacksonville or the local scene there, but I could tell this was a tough case. Even though the verdict wasn’t everything hoped for, the defense team truly fought hard and handled themselves with incredible professionalism. I especially admired how the lead attorney maintained composure and respect, even when things got tense with the judge. That showed real skill and discipline. I just wanted to give credit where it’s due — this was an amazing young Black attorney and a well-put-together team that did a truly outstanding job. You all are the real deal!

I’ve been following the Alicia Andrews case and watched the entire trial on Law & Crime. Mr. Mclymont did an amazing job. His passion and advocacy for this young woman is truly inspiring. This case captivated me because I could have easily been in Alicia’s shoes when I was her age. I know how it feels to be young and caught up with the wrong boyfriend. The manslaughter verdict is unfortunate but nonetheless it is a win for her and her defense team. I am so glad that she will still have the opportunity to live life outside of prison one day. I will be praying for her and that the judge will have mercy on her at her sentencing.

If you’re in a situation where you’re considering hiring Jeremy, just know he is worth whatever he’s charging. A family member was looking at 25+ years but Jeremy kept fighting until the charges were lowered and eventually dropped completely. We can never thank him enough!! I spoke to many, many attorneys before deciding on Jeremy. Where other lawyers were already talking about a plea from the initial consultation, Jeremy never considered it, even when the state kept asking him to negotiate. He made us feel like he cared about the client as a person & not just as a $ amount, which was definitely not how most of the other lawyers I spoke to made me feel. In a situation where every decision seemed like the wrong one, choosing Jeremy was the best one we could have made.
