Robert elmen is one of a kind. When you look into his eyes and speak to him you see a true warm inviting kind caring person who does not wait around to get to work. Robert jumps right into it! He saw what I was being put up against and Mr elmen communicated thoroughly between me and The local PD shutting down what charges could have been brought forth after nothing was founded & making it known I have back up ready to fight in the name of defense! If ever in the future I am in need of legal assistance I wouldn't think twice than to call Robert elmen of elmen legal PLLC. This man is one of the few lawyers I've dealt with that has demonstrated genuine & productive empathy. I was held on no bond for a serious charge and my brother reached out to Mr. Elmen. He came to visit same day, took notes & asked great questions, assured me I wasn't a bad person & that he knew how to help. Only lawyer that has offered to file a motion to help get me out of custody sooner. Incredible guy. Only spoke with him for about 30 minutes, but it got me through a hard time. I retained Robert Elmen as my attorney for a misdemeanor I was charged with in Washtenaw Co. Mr. Elmen not only made the entire process seem very easy and comfortable, but he was able to have the charge reduced to a parking violation with a small fine. On top of that I received no points on my driving record and have no criminal record. I recommend this attorney in the highest possible regard.

I was very impressed by Mr Elmen when he helped my friend recently with a legal matter in Washtenaw circuit court. Mr. Elmen was extremely empathetic and understanding of my friend and the case, yet in court he could really put the hammer down when it mattered. He mastered all the nuances of my friend’s case and had a really good knowledge of all the issues at hand. He gave the case and my friend the utmost concern and attention. I highly recommend him!
