James is an outstanding attorney. Got my NYC Portable Device ticket dismissed at Staten Island TVB. Extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and strategic. If you’re fighting a traffic ticket in New York, hire him — you won’t regret it. I was well informed and prepared from beginning to end with a very responsive office as well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I truly cannot say enough good things about James Medows, Esq. I went into this situation genuinely afraid I was going to lose my license, and as a mom who relies on her car for work and daily life, that was incredibly stressful. James was quick, straightforward, and completely confident. He knew exactly what he was doing, went in prepared, and handled the case efficiently and professionally—resolving it in a way I truly didn’t think was possible. Another lawyer told me I would have to pay thousands to the court and him— and would have a criminal charge for a traffic ticket. James said that was ridiculous and he was absolutely right! I paid him one flat, reasonable fee and he got my fines down to only a couple of hundred dollars. I was also at risk of losing my license the next day, he went to court immediately and took care of everything. Throughout the process, his assistant Paul was wonderful. He explained all the details clearly, followed up on everything, and made sure I always knew what was happening. After the case was resolved, James personally followed up right away with the results, which meant so much to me. The entire experience was smooth, professional, and incredibly reassuring. After getting a speeding ticket by the NYSP, I was referred to James Medows. His response time is very quick, and I felt like I was in safe hands. They dealt with the entire case from start to finish, and attending the hearing without me having to be worried at all. They kept my file organized, emailed me with updates, and kept me aware of everything happening. They prevented me from getting 3 points on my license, and got the whole case DISMISSED! Everybody knows having a license with a clean record is one of the best lifehacks/financial hacks especially here in nyc. I got 2 tickets, 1 for insufficient turn signal & the other for disobeying a traffic device, which would have amounted to 4 points on my license. James was able to reach a Not Guilty verdict on both, therefore saving me probably hundreds of dollars, if not more, longterm. Hopefully i never have to be in this situation again, but if i am i know who to come to again. Very highly recommend! 🙌🏽
