I highly recommend the Ketchel Law Group. Justin, Tom, and the team provided excellent communication, but it was their performance in the courtroom that truly stood out. Tom was incredibly impressive during the trial—personable but firm, he spoke with authority and stayed in total control. Having him represent me gave me great peace of mind. After going through a very difficult legal situation, I can say without hesitation that Ketchel Law is one of the best criminal defense firms you could possibly hire. Because of a previous experience with criminal charges where I had a very poor experience with attorneys, I was extremely careful this time when choosing representation. I conducted a serious search and interviewed around 20 different criminal defense attorneys. Unfortunately, many of them never returned calls, failed to follow up, or gave advice that did not inspire confidence. I even paid several attorneys $200 for half-hour consultations and still left those meetings feeling worse than before. When I contacted Ketchel Law, the experience was completely different from the beginning. Even though they offer a free initial consultation, the level of professionalism and attention they gave my case was far beyond many paid consultations I had elsewhere. Unlike most attorneys I spoke with, they actually took the time to carefully read and understand my detailed explanation of the events and the legal issues involved. My case involved two very serious criminal charges. The team at Ketchel Law immediately understood the legal strategy and explained how the case could be challenged under Pennsylvania law. They offered a fair fee for handling the preliminary hearing and were confident that the case could be dismissed — something that is extremely rare at that stage. When the preliminary hearing took place, Attorney Thomas McKinley represented me. Before the DA and police officers could even present testimony, he methodically dismantled the accusations and demonstrated that even if every allegation were taken at face value, it did not meet the legal standard for a criminal offense under Pennsylvania law. Watching him argue the case was remarkable — he spoke clearly, confidently, and fought for me like a lion. The result: the case was dismissed. For the first time in my experience with the legal system, I truly saw what a dedicated defense attorney looks like. Another gesture that meant a lot to me was that the firm also handled the expungement process to clear my record and completely waived the usual $500 fee. They didn’t have to do that, and I was genuinely touched by their generosity. I also had the opportunity to speak with the head of the firm, Attorney Ketchel, and it was clear that the entire team operates at a very high professional level. Every attorney I interacted with was knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely committed to defending their clients. If you need a criminal defense attorney who will actually fight for you, study your case carefully, and stand up in court with confidence, I highly recommend Ketchel Law.
