I recently purchased an RV from Florida, and have had some issues since. I decided to reach out to an attorney, which an attorney from Colorado (where I live) recommended calling Don in Orlando (Where i purchased). I did. Although RV Lemon Laws being somewhat specialized, and Not being a core for most attorneys, including Don, Don looked into the details "on his own time". We had multiple discussions and determined this would be better supported by someone specialized in this specific area and even recommended a firm that resulted from his researching into it. Thank you Don, very appreciated! Although in the end we never ended up working together, one will not find many attorneys (or those in many disciplines) willing to support me/others the way and manner in which he did. Thanks Don.

Just wanted to thank Don, a man that is upfront, and made me feel as if I were talking to a long time friend, unlike other lawyers wanting to push bankruptcy on me. Don gave me his undivided attention and most importantly his time to help me with my issue. I would reccomend Mr. Petersen, as he called me back just like he said he would when I initially called him, now I have clarity on the next steps to take to handle my issue. Thank you again Don!

From what I have observed he fights very hard for his clients, and gives each and every case labor intensive priority. He generously provides law educational information and resources by on-line, through social media channels, and other business communications. Attorney Donald Petersen, also owns and moderates multiple Google Plus Communities, including a Law Question and Answer format. He is genuine, professional and knowledgeable. I was served with a lawsuit against me for a credit card debut from years ago. I contacted Don on what my options were. He took my case on and withing a month the case was dismissed. Don is very knowledgeable in this area of the law. I would recommend him to anyone with the same issues. I know for a fact if something like this happens again, Don is the first person I am calling.

Don Petersen is an exceptional consumer rights attorney. I am another Orlando attorney (different practice area), who has grown to know and greatly respect Don Petersen over many years. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is the only attorney I trust to ask my own questions when consumers ask me about ANY consumer debt issues. He has always been very helpful with providing free consultations to potential clients whenever he thinks he can help. I have learned that he really is one of the best FDCPA lawyers in the country. So we Orlando residents are definitely lucky to have him right here in Central Florida. He handles FDCPA and TCPA cases, along with many related laws like auto lemon law. He basically helps anytime creditors are harassing a consumer with unlawful phone calls, and other violations of the fair debt protections act. His website is also a wealth of information about how the FDCPA and TCPA work in specific cases. Of course, you could more easily get answers just by calling him. Another thing I noticed recently. I subscribe to an email list of other lawyers. One attorney recently asked about how FDCPA cases were handled. Another attorney mentioned how he handled and resolved a specific FDCPA issue. Right away I knew that Don would have had a MUCH better outcome for the client. Basically this other attorney resolved the issue in a less than ideal way. And I knew Don Petersen had the ability to get a much better result, based on my many discussions with him about how he handles specific cases. Part of the reason is that the law involves creativity in many instances -- and Don's years of focused experience in this narrow area of the law gives him the ability to think of solutions many other consumer debt lawyers would miss.. If you have a question about the FDCPA or TCPA, you should call Don right away. You will know as soon as he starts talking that he knows his stuff, and can help you, if any creditor violated the law when pursuing a debt that you may or may not even owe.
