I worked with Douglas Portnoy for a speeding ticket and the experience was very efficient. As soon as I reached out, he followed up quickly and all communication was done through email. He responded fast and kept me informed throughout the process. Initially the offer was to reduce the ticket to 44 in a 35. That would not have created insurance points but it would have added minor license points. He advised me to complete a four hour driving course, which I did. After that reduction, Douglas went back to court to see if he could get it reduced to improper equipment. He followed up, pushed for that outcome, and was successful. That protects both my license and my insurance, which was the best possible result. I appreciate that he took the extra step instead of stopping at the first offer. I am satisfied with the outcome and I would recommend him to others.

On top of that, his fee was very reasonable compared to others I looked into, which made things even less stressful. I can’t say enough good things about Attorney Portnoy. He was extremely compassionate and responsive in how he handled my case. For my first phone call to his office he picked up the phone personally and for all email communications I received email responses from him within minutes. I never would have expected such prompt service. I agree with the other reviews that he set my mind at ease. I was extremely nervous about my case, but he was very reassuring and gave me confidence with his years of expertise and in-depth knowledge of the process. In the end, I got the result I was hoping for, and I am truly grateful for his representation. I would give him 6 stars if I could. I would definitely recommend Attorney Portnoy!!!
