Shane was absolutely great to work with. My case had a bunch of complications, and honestly, I was pretty stressed about it all. But Shane handled everything like a pro. He kept me in the loop the whole time, broke things down so they were easy to understand, and was always quick to respond when I had questions. What I really appreciated was how calm and confident he was. It helped me stay grounded, even when things got messy. He knew exactly what he was doing, and it showed. He’s super knowledgeable but also just a genuinely easy person to talk to. I never felt rushed or like just another case on his desk. In the end, everything turned out better than I expected, and a lot of that is thanks to Shane. If you need someone who’s sharp, reliable, and easy to work with, I’d highly recommend him.

I would like to start this review by thanking Shane Surrette , for the work he has done in my case. Without going into details I want to say that he is the first layer that did not exaggerate my case , kept me very calm explaining my situation and the potential outcome. He was very patient and responded to my messages anytime I texted him and that was many times. He got the facts together and had my case dismissed. I would recommend him to anyone, as he does not take advantage of the situation and overcharge you like some tried to do with me. Hiring Shane as my attorney was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. When I first reached out through his website, he responded almost immediately, and on a weekend, which was a welcome surprise, as I expected to wait at least several days to hear back. He was 100% prepared and on top of things, from our first court appearance through the resolution of the case. When we first presented at the probation office, the clerk handed us papers that needed to be filled out. Shane reached into his bag and pulled out the forms, already completed, and handed them to the clerk, who remarked at his preparedness. At that point I knew I hired the right person for the job. Then, when we entered the courtroom for the first time, all of the other attorneys greeted him and treated him with the utmost respect. Once again, it felt like relief, to be represented by somebody that everybody else knew and was interested in talking to. When our first motion to suppress and dismiss was rejected, Shane filed a new motion to reconsider and made even more compelling arguments, such that the judge reversed his original decision and suppressed all of the evidence based on the illegality of the vehicle search, ultimately resulting in a full dismissal. This is not something that happens routinely, and I don’t believe I would have succeeded with any other attorney. A court-appointed public defender would never have done everything that Shane did to get my case dismissed. Additionally, he was fully accessible and made me feel involved in the process every step of the way. If you need a criminal defender in Worcester county, hiring Shane Surrette is the best money you’ll ever spend.

I got a speeding ticket for 13 over, and he got it completely dropped! Not only that but I was from out of state because I drive for a living and he was able to get it scheduled for a phone hearing instead of in person so I didn't have to drive 800+ miles to go to court for a few minutes. I had a great time working with him and could call or text and get a response in a good, timely manner. Was also good pricing compared to others that I had called for the ticket. Overall great person to work with. 5 stars.

I never imagined I would ever need a criminal defense lawyer, but when the unimaginable happened, I was referred to Attorney Surrette. He was professional and knowledgeable yet still kind, sympathetic, calm, and reassuring. I appreciated that he didn't make any wild guarantees of an outcome but instead was honest about what could happen and what, in his experience, was most probably going to happen. He made sure I knew each step in the process and was very patient in answering all of my questions and in trying to allay my fears. In the end, he was spot on in his assessment of most likely scenario, and I am very happy with the outcome. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of his services. I can't imagine anyone could have handled my situation better.
