Exceptional Legal Representation - Legendary Team I cannot say enough good things about the legal team of Montell Figgins, Kenneth Brown, and Douglass Mitchell. From the very beginning, their level of professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail was nothing short of exceptional. What really sets this firm apart is the personal attention they give to their clients. They take the time to listen carefully, explain every step of the process, and make sure you understand your options. At no point did I feel like just another case file. They treat your situation with the seriousness and respect it deserves. When it comes to litigation, this team is incredibly sharp. Their preparation, strategic thinking, and command of the legal issues are impressive. You can tell they bring years of experience and a deep understanding of the law into every aspect of their work. They approach complex matters with confidence and precision, which gives you a tremendous sense of reassurance during what can be a stressful process. Another thing that stands out is their responsiveness and communication. Questions are answered promptly, updates are provided regularly, and they make sure you always know where things stand. That level of attentiveness is rare and speaks volumes about how seriously they take their clients’ cases. In my opinion, Montell Figgins, Ken Brown, and Douglass Mitchell have built a reputation that is well-deserved. Their commitment to excellence, integrity, and results truly makes them stand out. They bring a combination of professionalism, skill, and determination that you would hope for in a legal team, and they deliver it consistently. If you are looking for attorneys who are experienced, attentive, strategic, and absolutely committed to their clients, this firm is simply outstanding. Their work speaks for itself, and it’s easy to see why they have such a strong reputation in the legal community.

The WORST law firm!! I hired Ken Brown TWO years ago (paying in full up front for two separate cases). I did not find him to be assertive on my behalf as an attorney SHOULD BE with the first case or even the second. I had to speak for MYSELF in the court room (he did not). The judge also violated my disability rights and he didn’t say a word on my behalf, as it was SUPPOSED to be virtual as per my physician. I think I could have resolved it on my own and shouldn’t have wasted my money with his services anyway. I CONSTANTLY have to email and text him because of his lack of follow through, which has been nothing but an extreme stressor for my son and I. We shouldn’t have to do his job. It’s unacceptable!!! Even though the first case was resolved, I did not get copies of appropriate court docs which I’ve asked for numerous times from him or his firm. I have a second case I paid for that’s been pending for over a year due to his lack of follow through. I’ve warned him and his firm via email if this persists, I will put a negative review on Google and contact the Bar Association of NJ which I will do. I don’t know how Mr FIGGINS who runs this law firm can allow this type of unprofessionalism by his associates. He also has never contacted me either, as I have tried to reach him numerous times for resolution. I’m NOT the only client that has a similar review about my attorney or this firm. STAY AWAY!!!

It was a great experience working with the law firm Montell Figgins. Attorney Ken Brown was excellent at what he did—professional, knowledgeable, and always supportive throughout the process. My family and I truly appreciate everything this firm has done for us. We are very grateful for their hard work, dedication, and the positive outcome they helped us achieve. Highly recommend their services!

It’s so unfortunate because initially I had such a good initial consultation with Mr. Brown. He advised me to sign documentation so that he would represent me and had me pay an initial security deposit. I was able to resolve the matter shortly after without having to take legal action. When I informed his office of this I had thanked them and asked if I could get a refund of the deposit. I was told that it was not their problem that I didn’t need legal representation anymore. Even though no work was completed on their part, they told me that’s too bad and I already signed the agreement. It was never told to me that the deposit was non refundable. The secretary even had the nerve to say that I was rude for assuming that no work was done. When I asked him to send me proof of work that was completed, because I would have no problem paying if work was in fact completed. He agreed. Unsurprisingly, nothing was ever sent. It was a completely different experience from my initial consultation. Completely lacking integrity.
