I reached out to Attorney Barbero late last year regarding a reckless driving charge I was dealing with. From the very beginning, he was extremely straightforward and honest with me about the possible outcomes of my case. At the time I first contacted him, I was honestly panicking. But after speaking with him, I felt a lot calmer and more confident about the situation. He asked me to explain exactly what happened, and he really took the time to listen without interrupting me. It actually felt like I had known him for a while, which made the conversation very comfortable. That meant a lot to me, especially because when the officers gave me the ticket, it felt like no one wanted to hear my side of the story. Attorney Barbero listened, understood the situation, and then clearly told me what steps I needed to take. I followed everything he advised me to do. As the case progressed, there were a lot of complications with scheduling. The first court date came up and I couldn’t attend, but he immediately worked to have it moved. The court didn’t want to proceed without me present, but he still pushed and advocated on my behalf. The same thing happened with the second and third court dates. Despite all of that, he never gave up on the case. By the time the fourth court date came around, I had issues with my flight and thought everything might fall apart. But Attorney Barbero stayed persistent and continued working on it. Literally while I was about to board a connecting flight, he appeared in court on my behalf and successfully convinced the court to dismiss the charges. Just like that, the case was dropped and I was finally in the clear. He truly went above and beyond for me, and I can honestly say he did an outstanding job handling my case. I would absolutely recommend Attorney Barbero to anyone who needs a strong, reliable attorney who actually cares and fights for his clients. 💯

Mathew Barbero is by far the best criminal defense lawyer I've ever had. He has represented me in multiple cases all resulting in dismissal of all charges. He was very honest and commutation was always accurate and on time.
